For the majority of our units, pets are not allowed at any time. We want to ensure all our guests at the resort have an excellent experience with minimal disruptions. We also have guests, staff and family members with allergies that need to be accommodated.
That said, we love dogs and love travel with our dog Garby, so we understand how nice it can be to include them in vacations. Last year, we conducted a pilot project to test out the impact of implementing two pet-friendly units. Allowable pets include dogs and cats. Things went fairly smoothly last year with a few hick-ups, so we are extending the project into 2026.

1. Guests with a service dog, pet dog or a cat must stay in one of the designated pet-friendly units:

A key consideration: In the summer, our resort is often fully booked with many guests and it is important that everyone enjoys their stay. We really want the pet-friendly units to work out well. If your dog is highly reactive, anxious or barks a lot, it would be best to leave the dog at home with a trusted friend.
*Please note that for any dogs or pets that are not service dogs with proper documentation or not approved to stay in the pet-friendly units, they will not be allowed in the units. You will not be able to stay with your pet.

- Fauna - One bedroom with a queen bed
- Hopewell - Two bedroom with a queen, and a double bed and twin bed
The following rules apply to bookings with a dog or cat:
- We charge an additional pet fee of $50 per stay
- Maximum of one small/medium sized dog or cat per unit permitted.
- The pet cannot be left unattended in the unit
- The pet must be on a leash when on the property
